We have developed two new kitchens within the pub to offer Head Chef Andy Blackmore and his team’s new and exciting menus a space to come alive.
Our chefs will be working with local suppliers and producers to limit our carbon footprint and impact on the environment, whilst championing the beautiful seasonal local produce that Sussex has to offer. This includes our partnership with local fishermen via Southern Head Fishing based along the Eastbourne Seafront. Utilising the same ethos, we will be working with local Butchers to source the best quality meat from within a 20-mile radius.
At The Rainbow we believe in Family Sundays and cannot wait to welcome you to the new best Sunday Roast in town. We will be serving an ever-changing hand rolled pizza menu, from our newly built garden kitchen.
The kitchen team can cater for all dietary requirements. “Good food, done well, no fuss!” Words Andy believes sums up his attitude towards cooking.

Our menu has been curated by Chef Andy and his team to capture the essence of local produce.
Working with local fisherman and butchers we are aiming to have a 20-mile radius menu, literally taking produce from as close to home as possible, without compromising the quality of the ingredients we use.
This idea not only reduces our carbon footprint but also supports local businesses. In this sense, we work seasonally and therefore your favourite dishes might not be available from time to time but be assured they will be back.
